The Nike CPFM Air Flea 2 Cactus Plant Flea Market Black Alabaster initially debuted at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in Miami on the feet of Turnstile bassist, Franz Lyons. This limited-edition sneaker launched as part of the second collaboration between Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market, an LA-based streetwear label known for its imaginative apparel.
The Black Alabaster variation features two elastic straps that cover the midfoot and forefoot. An exaggerated tread with square-shaped lugs wraps around the toe and heel, giving the sneaker a cycling shoe appearance. Dual pull tabs on the heel bear the lettering ‘AIR’ and ‘FLEA 2,’ while additional branding can be found on the tongue.
Something our experts love is the prominent Alabaster Swoosh on the side panel, which contrasts the shoe’s all-black aesthetic. The Swoosh overlaps the elastic straps and can be removed.
